The Ultimate Nappy Bag Packing Checklist
It can be overwhelming figuring out what to pack in your nappy bag, and even when you've become a seasoned parenting pro, it's just as easy to forget an essential. So, whether it’s your first outing or your hundredth, it’s handy to have a checklist to make sure you have everything you need in your nappy bag.

Nappy Bag Packing Checklist For Babies and Toddlers
Changing and hygiene:
- Nappies
- Wipes. Store these in our Wipes Case to stop them drying out and reduce bulk in your bag.
- Waste Bags. Use our Eco Bags to store dirty nappies, used wipes and rubbish on the go
- Change mat / Nappy Clutch. Keep nappy change essentials like wipes, nappies, nappy rash cream organised within an all-in-one nappy clutch change mat, so it's all in the one place for change time.

- Spare clothes
- Small washcloth. Place over baby's private parts while changing them to catch any rogue pee once the nappy is off.

- Wet bag
- Tissues
Baby / toddler feeding as needed:
- Formula. Pop it in a formula dispenser for ease.
- Bottles

- Sippy cup or baby drink bottle with water in it.
- Bib
- Snacks or on the go weaning foods like pouches
- Baby spoon / fork
Other:
- Toys
- Teethers
- Burp cloth
- A blanket and / or muslin cloth depending on the weather.
- Hat
- Dummy / pacifier (if needed)
- Mini first aid/hygiene kit (pop these into a pouch so you can easily switch between bags as needed)
- Sunscreen
- Insect repellant
- Bandaids
- Alcohol swabs (incase your toddler has a cut or fall that needs to be cleaned)
- Small pack of disinfectant wipes
- Mini pack of tissues
- Period products for mum (a couple of spare sanitary pads, tampons etc. You never know when that first postpartum period will arrive and you don’t want to be surprised while out with bub).
Nappy Bag Packing Checklist for Mum
Things to remember to pack for yourself:- Wallet
- Phone
- Keys (yes it’s obvious but mum brain! It would be a disaster to leave the house without them).
- Water bottle
- Sunglasses
- Hat
- Nipple balm and breast pads if you’re breastfeeding.
- Snacks for you such as trail mix, a muesli bar or lactation cookies for days that you don’t have time to stop.
- Pen (always handy to have one).
